Narrative:
Landing mco, #1 tire flat on rollout. Landing smooth, automatic brakes on #1 (min braking). Aircraft stayed on runway. Easily made turnoff. Tower reported seeing tire blow. Tower also reported no evidence of fire or smoke. This was confirmed by airport emergency vehicle in less than 2 mins. Slow taxi to gate followed by said vehicle. The tire did not break up (carcass whole). A computer review of the aircraft maintenance history revealed that #1 tire had been written up 6 days previously and had been checked and approved for service.
