Narrative:
As our last passenger was leaving the aircraft, both door cables broke on our light transport aircraft causing the man to fall. The straps that were in place had a plastic shield over the cable and ran all the way up over the fitting that secured the strap to the airframe. The condition of the straps could not be ascertained at the time of the preflight or after due to the protective shielding.
