Narrative:
Aircraft left west end grand bahama in order to carry island residents out of the path of hurricane andrew. 1 adult passenger had no seat in place but seat belt was fastened. 2 2- yr old children were sitting in adults laps. The aircraft was computed to be within cg and gross weight limits. FAA ramp check cited improper passenger seating.

Title: A PRIVATE SMA PLT WAS CITED FOR CARRYING MORE PAX THAN SEATS IN AN EMER HURRICANE EVAC.
Narrative: ACFT LEFT W END GRAND BAHAMA IN ORDER TO CARRY ISLAND RESIDENTS OUT OF THE PATH OF HURRICANE ANDREW. 1 ADULT PAX HAD NO SEAT IN PLACE BUT SEAT BELT WAS FASTENED. 2 2- YR OLD CHILDREN WERE SITTING IN ADULTS LAPS.
