Narrative:
The problem occurred after preflight and pretkof checks, in which everything was fine, all system were ok. After clearance from tower, I proceeded to start my takeoff. Approximately 10 seconds after liftoff, power was lost. At this time I immediately 'pushed' the nose over in order to land on the remainder of the runway (34). I notified the tower, of both my problem and my intentions. I landed the plane without any problems and rolled off to the last taxiway. The aircraft and I were not hurt or damaged in anyway. I believe that the problem stemmed from a drain valve that had opened up, which may have allowed for a loss in fuel pressure. I did check all the valves during my preflight inspection and nothing was leaking. I also checked fuel pressure on both 'runup' and takeoff and both were noted as being fine.

Title: ENG LOSES PWR ON TKOF, PRIVATE PLT LANDS STRAIGHT AHEAD.
Narrative: THE PROBLEM OCCURRED AFTER PREFLT AND PRETKOF CHKS, IN WHICH EVERYTHING WAS FINE, ALL SYS WERE OK. AFTER CLRNC FROM TWR, I PROCEEDED TO START MY TKOF. APPROX 10 SECONDS AFTER LIFTOFF, PWR WAS LOST. AT THIS TIME I IMMEDIATELY 'PUSHED' THE NOSE OVER IN ORDER TO LAND ON THE REMAINDER OF THE RWY (34). I NOTIFIED THE TWR, OF BOTH MY PROBLEM AND MY INTENTIONS. I LANDED THE PLANE WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS AND ROLLED OFF TO THE LAST TAXIWAY. THE ACFT AND I WERE NOT HURT OR DAMAGED IN ANYWAY. I BELIEVE THAT THE PROBLEM STEMMED FROM A DRAIN VALVE THAT HAD OPENED UP, WHICH MAY HAVE ALLOWED FOR A LOSS IN FUEL PRESSURE. I DID CHK ALL THE VALVES DURING MY PREFLT INSPECTION AND NOTHING WAS LEAKING. I ALSO CHKED FUEL PRESSURE ON BOTH 'RUNUP' AND TKOF AND BOTH WERE NOTED AS BEING FINE.
