Narrative:
Mlt X, a spc was inbound to hill AFB. Mlt X was level at 15000 and I lost his beacon target. He was given a descent to 6300 and cleared for a visual approach. I did not start seeing his transponder until the slc 333/30. This was almost 15 mi without beacon information. I called ZLC and they were still seeing mlt X's transponder.
