Narrative:
On descent to lax we received a TCASII RA and a verbal command to climb. Sighted the traffic (the one we believed to be causing the RA) and climbed approximately 800 ft. The RA ceased, I called approach control and advised them that we climbed, and then we descended back to 10000 ft (our assigned altitude).

Title: ACR HAS TCASII RA ON DSCNT.
Narrative: ON DSCNT TO LAX WE RECEIVED A TCASII RA AND A VERBAL COMMAND TO CLB. SIGHTED THE TFC (THE ONE WE BELIEVED TO BE CAUSING THE RA) AND CLBED APPROX 800 FT. THE RA CEASED, I CALLED APCH CTL AND ADVISED THEM THAT WE CLBED, AND THEN WE DSNDED BACK TO 10000 FT (OUR ASSIGNED ALT).
