Narrative:

We were climbing through 5700 ft when departure asked us our altitude. I said we are at 5800. Departure said we were clear to 5000 ft and asked us to maintain 6000. Departure then told an inbound aircraft to maintain 7000. I then noticed we had 10000 ft set in the altitude window. I said to the controller that we had 10000 in the window and he said mco doesn't use 10000 ft. I then realized that mco uses 5000 ft and 12000 ft. Due to electrical power source changes and some confusion as to if we were on schedule, I failed to check and verify the numbers set in the altitude box.
