Narrative:

We were air carrier flight number going from clt to bna. After passing cha VOR on the volls 2 arrival, I mistook the tys transition for the cha transition. We flew the 262 radial outbound and should have flown the 312 degree radial. The first officer had the 312 radial tuned in but I assumed he was identing vandd intersection on the arrival. 10 mi or approximately 2 mins after passing cha ATC brought it to our attention and we corrected our course with no conflicts. The contributing factors in this mistake was my fatigue. It was XA00 at night and I was very tired due to lack of sleep at home because of a new baby. I had not had a good night sleep in 3 weeks.
