Narrative:
Air carrier flight sea-iah. Over ALS at FL370, had engine anti-ice on. Cockpit started filling with smoke. Declared an emergency and was cleared by ATC for descent to 10000 ft. Turned off engine anti-ice and smoke cleared by FL220. Leveled off and then decided to make precautionary landing at amarillo, tx. Landing was uneventful and fire trucks met aircraft.

Title: CAPT OF ACR MLG ACFT MADE AN EMER DSCNT DUE TO SMOKE IN THE COCKPIT.
Narrative: ACR FLT SEA-IAH. OVER ALS AT FL370, HAD ENG ANTI-ICE ON. COCKPIT STARTED FILLING WITH SMOKE. DECLARED AN EMER AND WAS CLRED BY ATC FOR DSCNT TO 10000 FT. TURNED OFF ENG ANTI-ICE AND SMOKE CLRED BY FL220. LEVELED OFF AND THEN DECIDED TO MAKE PRECAUTIONARY LNDG AT AMARILLO, TX. LNDG WAS UNEVENTFUL AND FIRE TRUCKS MET ACFT.
