Narrative:
#2 engine failure on takeoff roll. Heard a loud bang at 100 KTS. Aircraft pulled to the right and I controled the yaw with rudder. The captain took control of the aircraft and aborted the takeoff. We got no overheat or fire warning, but tower told us #2 was smoking. By this time I had noticed egt on #2 engine was redline, and the captain had shutdown the engine, and I had pulled the fire handle. I started the APU, lowered the flaps to 40 degrees and then visually looked out my side window to check the engine. There was no fire and just a little smoke but there was fluid underneath the engine. The captain told the flight attendant to deplane the passenger using the stairs and we shutdown #1 engine.
