Narrative:

During a wait for weight tab, i.e., load advisory message, the aircraft was taxied to a position on a ramp near other aircraft, an light transport twin engine aircraft. Prior to being directed there by ground control, the captain conversed with first officer and so that a better position to wait might be at edge of taxiway near the runway rather than the apron ramp side. Once parked, the ground controller did advise us as to use min thrust when departing ramp. With 2 engines running, aircraft moved only 15-20 yards before slowly coming to a stop. The #2 engine was called to be started and with all 3 running, even then slightly above idle thrust was needed to move up and around another aircraft parked in front of us. The before takeoff check, takeoff clearance, and PA's accomplished and the flight segment was completed. The next day captain was notified by company channels that a twin engine commuter aircraft had been blown/slid into adjacent baggage carts causing some aircraft damage.

Title: ACR LTT ACFT DAMAGED AFTER BEING BLOWN INTO BAGGAGE CART BY JET BLAST ENCOUNTER.

Narrative: DURING A WAIT FOR WT TAB, I.E., LOAD ADVISORY MESSAGE, THE ACFT WAS TAXIED TO A POS ON A RAMP NEAR OTHER ACFT, AN LTT TWIN ENG ACFT. PRIOR TO BEING DIRECTED THERE BY GND CTL, THE CAPT CONVERSED WITH FO AND SO THAT A BETTER POS TO WAIT MIGHT BE AT EDGE OF TXWY NEAR THE RWY RATHER THAN THE APRON RAMP SIDE. ONCE PARKED, THE GND CTLR DID ADVISE US AS TO USE MIN THRUST WHEN DEPARTING RAMP. WITH 2 ENGS RUNNING, ACFT MOVED ONLY 15-20 YARDS BEFORE SLOWLY COMING TO A STOP. THE #2 ENG WAS CALLED TO BE STARTED AND WITH ALL 3 RUNNING, EVEN THEN SLIGHTLY ABOVE IDLE THRUST WAS NEEDED TO MOVE UP AND AROUND ANOTHER ACFT PARKED IN FRONT OF US. THE BEFORE TKOF CHK, TKOF CLRNC, AND PA'S ACCOMPLISHED AND THE FLT SEGMENT WAS COMPLETED. THE NEXT DAY CAPT WAS NOTIFIED BY COMPANY CHANNELS THAT A TWIN ENG COMMUTER ACFT HAD BEEN BLOWN/SLID INTO ADJACENT BAGGAGE CARTS CAUSING SOME ACFT DAMAGE.
