Narrative:
Commuter flight from crp-iah. ZHU instructed approximately 50 mi prior to fix to cross gland intersection at the iah gland 7 arrival at 9000 ft. Presently at approximately FL230. Captain started a 500 FPM descent 50 NM south of fix. I instructed the captain to increase rate of descent at approximately 20 NM from fix because center called to confirm crossing fix was understood by crew. I then answered affirmative. The altitude passing was approximately FL200. At 10 mi from fix I instructed the captain to pull power back and increase rate of descent and kept insisting to cross gland intersection at 9000 ft. He then had about 6000-7000 ft to go. Captain then put power levers to idle and rate of descent was approximately 3500 FPM. We then crossed gland intersection at approximately 11200 ft, 2200 ft above our instructions given by center. Center then called and handed us off to houston approach control and nothing was heard from center or approach about our deviation. No other incident on remainder of flight and landed safely.

Title: COMMUTER MDT MISSES XING RESTRICTION.
Narrative: COMMUTER FLT FROM CRP-IAH. ZHU INSTRUCTED APPROX 50 MI PRIOR TO FIX TO CROSS GLAND INTXN AT THE IAH GLAND 7 ARR AT 9000 FT. PRESENTLY AT APPROX FL230. CAPT STARTED A 500 FPM DSCNT 50 NM S OF FIX. I INSTRUCTED THE CAPT TO INCREASE RATE OF DSCNT AT APPROX 20 NM FROM FIX BECAUSE CTR CALLED TO CONFIRM XING FIX WAS UNDERSTOOD BY CREW. I THEN ANSWERED AFFIRMATIVE. THE ALT PASSING WAS APPROX FL200. AT 10 MI FROM FIX I INSTRUCTED THE CAPT TO PULL PWR BACK AND INCREASE RATE OF DSCNT AND KEPT INSISTING TO CROSS GLAND INTXN AT 9000 FT. HE THEN HAD ABOUT 6000-7000 FT TO GO. CAPT THEN PUT PWR LEVERS TO IDLE AND RATE OF DSCNT WAS APPROX 3500 FPM. WE THEN CROSSED GLAND INTXN AT APPROX 11200 FT, 2200 FT ABOVE OUR INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN BY CTR. CTR THEN CALLED AND HANDED US OFF TO HOUSTON APCH CTL AND NOTHING WAS HEARD FROM CTR OR APCH ABOUT OUR DEV. NO OTHER INCIDENT ON REMAINDER OF FLT AND LANDED SAFELY.
