Narrative:
Was making localizer approach to runway 24R with a sidestep procedure to land on runway 24L (due to snow plows on runway 24R). The tower had advised us that other aircraft had been using runway 24L. Upon reaching minimums, acquired visual contact with both runway 24R and snow plow equipment on same. I looked to the left and acquired a visual on runway 24L. Confirmed visual with PNF. PNF then proceeded to scan instruments and call out required airspds and altitudes. I started sidestep procedure, lined up with runway 24L threshold and between runway light stanchions, determined runway was clear of traffic, and landed. After slowing the aircraft to taxi speed I became aware that I had accidentally landed on taxiway G instead of runway 24L. Upon reflection, realized that taxiway G's darker color made it easily visible whereas runway 24L, its lights and stanchions, were obscured by snow. Blowing snow further obscured the lights and stanchions on runway 24L. On approach everything appeared normal. The blue color of taxiway G's light lens was not apparent from my approach angle. Easterly winds had caused snow to coat the lens sufficiently as to prevent identify. Upon discussing and analyzing the situation with other crew member, the following action has been taken. Cpr flcs will not perform sidestep landing maneuvers. Effective immediately. No damage to aircraft or property were sustained.

Title: CAPT OF CPR LTT ACFT MISTAKENLY LANDED ON A TXWY DURING A SIDESTEP APCH.
Narrative: WAS MAKING LOC APCH TO RWY 24R WITH A SIDESTEP PROC TO LAND ON RWY 24L (DUE TO SNOW PLOWS ON RWY 24R). THE TWR HAD ADVISED US THAT OTHER ACFT HAD BEEN USING RWY 24L. UPON REACHING MINIMUMS, ACQUIRED VISUAL CONTACT WITH BOTH RWY 24R AND SNOW PLOW EQUIP ON SAME. I LOOKED TO THE L AND ACQUIRED A VISUAL ON RWY 24L. CONFIRMED VISUAL WITH PNF. PNF THEN PROCEEDED TO SCAN INSTS AND CALL OUT REQUIRED AIRSPDS AND ALTS. I STARTED SIDESTEP PROC, LINED UP WITH RWY 24L THRESHOLD AND BTWN RWY LIGHT STANCHIONS, DETERMINED RWY WAS CLR OF TFC, AND LANDED. AFTER SLOWING THE ACFT TO TAXI SPD I BECAME AWARE THAT I HAD ACCIDENTALLY LANDED ON TXWY G INSTEAD OF RWY 24L. UPON REFLECTION, REALIZED THAT TXWY G'S DARKER COLOR MADE IT EASILY VISIBLE WHEREAS RWY 24L, ITS LIGHTS AND STANCHIONS, WERE OBSCURED BY SNOW. BLOWING SNOW FURTHER OBSCURED THE LIGHTS AND STANCHIONS ON RWY 24L. ON APCH EVERYTHING APPEARED NORMAL. THE BLUE COLOR OF TXWY G'S LIGHT LENS WAS NOT APPARENT FROM MY APCH ANGLE. EASTERLY WINDS HAD CAUSED SNOW TO COAT THE LENS SUFFICIENTLY AS TO PREVENT IDENT. UPON DISCUSSING AND ANALYZING THE SIT WITH OTHER CREW MEMBER, THE FOLLOWING ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN. CPR FLCS WILL NOT PERFORM SIDESTEP LNDG MANEUVERS. EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. NO DAMAGE TO ACFT OR PROPERTY WERE SUSTAINED.
