Narrative:
During the preflight of air carrier flight number, no discrepancies were noted. We flew flight number to orf and during the post-flight inspection no discrepancies were noted. We flew flight number back to rdu and about 30 mins after landing the maintenance personnel discovered a dent in the right side of the fuselage just aft of the wing. Apparently a piece of ground equipment made contact with the aircraft either in orf after our post-flight inspection or in rdu after we taxied in to the gate.

Title: ACR LTT ACFT DAMAGED BY GND EQUIP.
Narrative: DURING THE PREFLT OF ACR FLT NUMBER, NO DISCREPANCIES WERE NOTED. WE FLEW FLT NUMBER TO ORF AND DURING THE POST-FLT INSPECTION NO DISCREPANCIES WERE NOTED. WE FLEW FLT NUMBER BACK TO RDU AND ABOUT 30 MINS AFTER LNDG THE MAINT PERSONNEL DISCOVERED A DENT IN THE R SIDE OF THE FUSELAGE JUST AFT OF THE WING. APPARENTLY A PIECE OF GND EQUIP MADE CONTACT WITH THE ACFT EITHER IN ORF AFTER OUR POST-FLT INSPECTION OR IN RDU AFTER WE TAXIED IN TO THE GATE.
