Narrative:
Taxiing in to gate at yul our left wingtip struck one of our cabin service trucks. We were right on centerline about 4 ft from the 'spot' and being cleared in by our director when we felt a hesitation and the aircraft stopped. The director continued to clear us in. At that time a flight attendant from the rear of the aircraft called us and told us that our left wingtip was resting against a truck. We then held the brakes and shut down the engines. There was no wing walker on the left side.
