Narrative:

Final controller instructed us to contact tower at the OM. Just prior to the marker, we had a flap disagreement. Our attention was diverted while handling that problem, and I forgot to change over to the tower. We landed and realized our mistake while holding short of runway 26L. Supplemental information from acn 238109: we were also close in (7 mi). At this time the aircraft developed the following problems: the electronic control unit for the left engine was inoperative, which would not allow the engines to be selected to idle, and when full flaps were selected, they stopped at an intermediate position requiring the first officer to look up a new landing reference speed. This confusion resulted in the first officer not calling for landing clearance from atl tower although he did call out prior to landing 'gear 3 green, cleared to land.' this was the 4TH leg of a long day (last landing scheduled for trip) and fatigue was beginning to set in.

Title: AN ACR LTT CREW LANDED WITHOUT TWR CLRNC.

Narrative: FINAL CTLR INSTRUCTED US TO CONTACT TWR AT THE OM. JUST PRIOR TO THE MARKER, WE HAD A FLAP DISAGREEMENT. OUR ATTN WAS DIVERTED WHILE HANDLING THAT PROB, AND I FORGOT TO CHANGE OVER TO THE TWR. WE LANDED AND REALIZED OUR MISTAKE WHILE HOLDING SHORT OF RWY 26L. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 238109: WE WERE ALSO CLOSE IN (7 MI). AT THIS TIME THE ACFT DEVELOPED THE FOLLOWING PROBS: THE ELECTRONIC CTL UNIT FOR THE L ENG WAS INOP, WHICH WOULD NOT ALLOW THE ENGS TO BE SELECTED TO IDLE, AND WHEN FULL FLAPS WERE SELECTED, THEY STOPPED AT AN INTERMEDIATE POS REQUIRING THE FO TO LOOK UP A NEW LNDG REF SPD. THIS CONFUSION RESULTED IN THE FO NOT CALLING FOR LNDG CLRNC FROM ATL TWR ALTHOUGH HE DID CALL OUT PRIOR TO LNDG 'GEAR 3 GREEN, CLRED TO LAND.' THIS WAS THE 4TH LEG OF A LONG DAY (LAST LNDG SCHEDULED FOR TRIP) AND FATIGUE WAS BEGINNING TO SET IN.
