Narrative:
On our approach to ksrq we were unable to get a green light for the left main gear. 2 attempts with the landing gear selector failed to get a safe left main gear indication. By using the alternate landing gear extension procedure we were able to get a green light for each gear. After notifying pittsburgh dispatch through sarasota company operations we proceeded to ktpa.
