Narrative:

I was conducting a routine flight with a student pilot in an small aircraft over new city, practicing maneuver. After a series of stalls, steep turns, minimum cruise altitude, etc, I pulled the throttle to idle to exercise an emergency procedure. At 1500 ft MSL (elevation of new city is 420 ft) I had the student execute a go around.
