Narrative:
Approach control had been working an aircraft that had an emergency, so seeing the fire rescue trucks rolling out to the runway was as expected. Air carrier X landing on runway 18 and the trucks were on taxiway left, parallel to runway 23L. Runway 23L intersects runway 18 at approximately mid-field of runway 18. On short final, I, the PNF, noted the truck rolling up to runway 18. As we touched down and began our rollout, I looked up and saw one of the trucks entering the runway at taxiway left at a high rate of speed. At that point I keyed the microphone and said, 'stop that fire truck.' this of course was a useless gesture since he must have been on another frequency. The PF began a more rapid deceleration with braking and reverse. As the truck was clearing the runway, tower said, 'go around.' at that point we were near the mid-field point. We were nearly stopped and there was not enough runway to execute a go around. I informed the tower that we would not be going around. Had we attempted a go around, I'm certain there would have been a worse event than the near miss.

Title: EMER VEHICLE RWY INCURSION HAD LTSS FROM LNDG ACR X.
Narrative: APCH CTL HAD BEEN WORKING AN ACFT THAT HAD AN EMER, SO SEEING THE FIRE RESCUE TRUCKS ROLLING OUT TO THE RWY WAS AS EXPECTED. ACR X LNDG ON RWY 18 AND THE TRUCKS WERE ON TXWY L, PARALLEL TO RWY 23L. RWY 23L INTERSECTS RWY 18 AT APPROX MID-FIELD OF RWY 18. ON SHORT FINAL, I, THE PNF, NOTED THE TRUCK ROLLING UP TO RWY 18. AS WE TOUCHED DOWN AND BEGAN OUR ROLLOUT, I LOOKED UP AND SAW ONE OF THE TRUCKS ENTERING THE RWY AT TXWY L AT A HIGH RATE OF SPD. AT THAT POINT I KEYED THE MIKE AND SAID, 'STOP THAT FIRE TRUCK.' THIS OF COURSE WAS A USELESS GESTURE SINCE HE MUST HAVE BEEN ON ANOTHER FREQ. THE PF BEGAN A MORE RAPID DECELERATION WITH BRAKING AND REVERSE. AS THE TRUCK WAS CLRING THE RWY, TWR SAID, 'GAR.' AT THAT POINT WE WERE NEAR THE MID-FIELD POINT. WE WERE NEARLY STOPPED AND THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH RWY TO EXECUTE A GAR. I INFORMED THE TWR THAT WE WOULD NOT BE GOING AROUND. HAD WE ATTEMPTED A GAR, I'M CERTAIN THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN A WORSE EVENT THAN THE NEAR MISS.
