Narrative:
During approach and landing at ric runway 16, crew of aircraft saw several emergency vehicles converging on a taxiway that intersects runway 16. Aircraft X was cleared to land after a visual approach and was advised that there was a medical emergency on the field. During landing, several emergency vehicles stopped just short of our runway. During taxi to the gate, tower asked us to call them. During that conversation, I was told that the emergency vehicle had missed a turn and was encroaching on our runway. Corrective action: I recommend that aircraft should not be cleared to land while emergency vehicles are responding to an incident.
