Narrative:

Military learjet climbing to FL270 requested descent back to FL250. 2 mi behind lear was an air carrier Y MD80 climbing to FL260. Stopped aircraft at FL240 and descended lear to FL250. Upon reaching FL250 lear reported further problems and emergency descent to 10000 ft. Told lear to wait a second while I turned Y and called lear traffic to him. Y turned and had lear in sight. I then had 3-4 mi target separation and diverging targets and descended lear to 10000 ft and turned to 090 degree vector back to andrews AFB, md. Lear landed safely. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter stated the lear flight crew declared an emergency due to pressurization problems. Reporter was complimented on his handling of the emergency.
