Narrative:

We taxied out of dtw for takeoff on runway 3L, all system normal. On takeoff run right.a.T. (Ram air turbine) fault appeared and aborted at 50 KTS. Taxied to holding area, conferred with maintenance, found fault to be erroneous. On next takeoff, we were unable to raise landing gear. We were vectored by dtw approach for a landing on runway 3L. We landed over weight at 160000 pounds with a touchdown rate of 200 FPM. Taxied to gate where maintenance check cfos and were unable to find any messages. In checking past history of aircraft, found nose gear strut had been replaced and aircraft had a history of same problem in last 30 days.
