Narrative:

Was advised by ATC of aircraft that would be leveling 1000 ft below our altitude. Due to excessive climb rate of approaching aircraft we received TA alert on our TCASII followed by RA advisory. Advised ATC of response to RA. Climbed aircraft to 11500 ft from 11000 ft then descend back after conflict was gone. No conflicts with other aircraft. Climb was not necessary because aircraft leveled at 10000 ft. TCASII system was responding to parameters exceeded by closure rate of approaching aircraft.

ADVISED ATC OF RESPONSE TO RA. CLBED ACFT TO 11500 FT FROM 11000 FT THEN DSND BACK AFTER CONFLICT WAS GONE. NO CONFLICTS WITH OTHER ACFT. CLB WAS NOT NECESSARY BECAUSE ACFT LEVELED AT 10000 FT.
