Narrative:
About 30 seconds after taking the runway (16L at sea) and awaiting takeoff clearance, we observed a light twin fly overhead and land on the runway ahead of us. We had observed a landing light on final as we received position and hold clearance, but it was high, and appeared to be for runway 16R.
