Narrative:
Flight into sna. Vectors for visual approach. ILS backup. Captain flying. Descent ATIS called headwind 20 gust 25 KTS. Next ATIS gust was gone. On final wind check called headwind 11 KTS. Map display showed headwind 11 KTS. (Direction about 15 degrees left of course.) event: on short final below 200 ft, above 100 ft, aircraft started to wing rock first left then right. Then as started back to left (may have been the other way around) the captain initiated go around procedures. Tower notified of turbulence on final. Visual approach was bumby but uneventful go around and second visual approach uneventful. No abnormal aircraft warnings. All system normal. Supplemental information from acn 242821: below 200 ft on short final, some light turbulence was experienced with wings rocking left and right. Maximum angle of bank up to 12 degrees to minimum altitude of 50 ft. Aircraft rocking and unable to dampen. Made missed approach followed by uneventful landing. Suspect wind shear and/or spoiler float.
