Narrative:
Misread pre departure clearance and missed specified departure. We were expecting a departure via the seattle 338 degree radial and then radar vector on course. We should have turned right to 070 degrees at 8 DME but did not. Departure controller asked if we were in a right turn to 070 degrees. We said no. He then said to turn immediately left to 290 degrees. There was traffic on the departure ahead of us. We had just flown an all night and had been called out on short notice to cover a trip for another flight crew. We had a flight management equipment problem and a fuel system problem. 2 mechanics and an agent were in the cockpit. The pre departure clearance began 'cleared as filed' and our flight plan did not include the specified departure. 7 mins elapsed between pushback and departure. The copilot read over the specified departure and I did not review pre departure clearance. As we go to a visual cockpit air traffic environment from an aural, and as pdcs are not fully read back, flcs have to back one another up.

Title: AN LGT ACR CREW MISREAD ITS PDC CAUSING A POTENTIAL TFC CONFLICT.
Narrative: MISREAD PDC AND MISSED SPECIFIED DEP. WE WERE EXPECTING A DEP VIA THE SEATTLE 338 DEG RADIAL AND THEN RADAR VECTOR ON COURSE. WE SHOULD HAVE TURNED R TO 070 DEGS AT 8 DME BUT DID NOT. DEP CTLR ASKED IF WE WERE IN A R TURN TO 070 DEGS. WE SAID NO. HE THEN SAID TO TURN IMMEDIATELY L TO 290 DEGS. THERE WAS TFC ON THE DEP AHEAD OF US. WE HAD JUST FLOWN AN ALL NIGHT AND HAD BEEN CALLED OUT ON SHORT NOTICE TO COVER A TRIP FOR ANOTHER FLC. WE HAD A FLT MGMNT EQUIP PROB AND A FUEL SYS PROB. 2 MECHS AND AN AGENT WERE IN THE COCKPIT. THE PDC BEGAN 'CLRED AS FILED' AND OUR FLT PLAN DID NOT INCLUDE THE SPECIFIED DEP. 7 MINS ELAPSED BTWN PUSHBACK AND DEP. THE COPLT READ OVER THE SPECIFIED DEP AND I DID NOT REVIEW PDC. AS WE GO TO A VISUAL COCKPIT AIR TFC ENVIRONMENT FROM AN AURAL, AND AS PDCS ARE NOT FULLY READ BACK, FLCS HAVE TO BACK ONE ANOTHER UP.
