Narrative:
While working east control sector for san juan approach, I had a complete ARTS failure on the san juan ASR 8. This condition lasted for about 15 mins. The field was IFR with numerous aircraft on vectors for the ILS approach.

Title: RADAR EQUIP PROB EARTS FAILURE.
Narrative: WHILE WORKING E CTL SECTOR FOR SAN JUAN APCH, I HAD A COMPLETE ARTS FAILURE ON THE SAN JUAN ASR 8. THIS CONDITION LASTED FOR ABOUT 15 MINS. THE FIELD WAS IFR WITH NUMEROUS ACFT ON VECTORS FOR THE ILS APCH.
