Narrative:

While working ground at btr, I was informed by airport security that a medical emergency was in progress on the ramp behind air carrier X medium large transport. I offered assistance, such as calling 911, but was told crash fire rescue (crash fire rescue equipment) dispatch would do it. I started monitoring crash fire rescue equipment frequency and heard the incident involved a person who got his foot caught in the mechanism of a catering truck. The dispatcher was informed to call 911 for the injury. After 5-7 mins, I observed the EMS unit depart his station 2 buildings down from the ATCT, and informed airport security. The air carrier X was delayed approximately 20 mins on his departure.
