Narrative:
As the power levers were advanced, the takeoff warning horn sounded. An abort was commanded and executed. We cleared the runway and tried to determine the cause of the horn. All items were set properly for takeoff, however, we suspected the flap position switch may have been close to one of its tolerances and while the correct flap position was selected, indicated and in fact, set, the switch believed them to be otherwise. Flaps were cycled and reset with no other problem no mechanical irregularity apparently existed. A more accurate sensor would probably prevent a recurrence.
