Narrative:
While on radar vectors to runway 27L localizer, we had a TCASII advisory indicating traffic above us and at about the 2 O'clock position. We had the traffic in sight. Other aircraft climbed, and was apparently on localizer for runway 26R. ATC gave us a late turn to intercept 27L localizer, resulting in TCASII advisory and a slight overshoot for us. Prior to this event, ATC had made a number of attempts to contact another aircraft, which could have resulted in them giving us our turn to final later than normal.

Title: POTENTIAL CONFLICT OCCURS DURING SIMULTANEOUS ARR ILS APCHS DURING RADAR VECTORING.
Narrative: WHILE ON RADAR VECTORS TO RWY 27L LOC, WE HAD A TCASII ADVISORY INDICATING TFC ABOVE US AND AT ABOUT THE 2 O'CLOCK POS. WE HAD THE TFC IN SIGHT. OTHER ACFT CLBED, AND WAS APPARENTLY ON LOC FOR RWY 26R. ATC GAVE US A LATE TURN TO INTERCEPT 27L LOC, RESULTING IN TCASII ADVISORY AND A SLIGHT OVERSHOOT FOR US. PRIOR TO THIS EVENT, ATC HAD MADE A NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT ANOTHER ACFT, WHICH COULD HAVE RESULTED IN THEM GIVING US OUR TURN TO FINAL LATER THAN NORMAL.
