Narrative:

While climbing with center advisories, we were through 13000 and center said traffic 15 mi 17000 ft descending 12 O'clock. We turned on lights and started looking. Next call we were at 14000 ft traffic was 12 O'clock and 5 mi 15000 descending. We responded we were stopping at 14500. Next call was 12 O'clock and 1/2 mi 14700. Then we saw medium large transport go by on right side less the 200 ft above and 300 horizontal. The medium large transport captain said, 'you guys should keep your eyes open if you don't want to get bumped. My captain, who was working radios suggested that they do something similar. Center said, 'now, now.'
