Narrative:
We attempted a takeoff roll at stl airport on 30R. All normal procedures and checklists were used prior to departure. Within 3 to 4 seconds into the takeoff roll the propeller brake light illuminated and takeoff was aborted. The right engine was shut down and taxi back to gate.

Title: ACFT EQUIP PROB MALFUNCTION MANDATES AN ABORTED TKOF.
Narrative: WE ATTEMPTED A TKOF ROLL AT STL ARPT ON 30R. ALL NORMAL PROCS AND CHKLISTS WERE USED PRIOR TO DEP. WITHIN 3 TO 4 SECONDS INTO THE TKOF ROLL THE PROP BRAKE LIGHT ILLUMINATED AND TKOF WAS ABORTED. THE R ENG WAS SHUT DOWN AND TAXI BACK TO GATE.
