Narrative:
Cleared for takeoff runway 9R fll, below line checklist completed. (Copilot's leg -- my leg.) captain set takeoff power. After completion of setting takeoff power before V1, a 'pop' from the right engine was heard. Right engine went to automatic feather. I initiated abort by bringing back the throttles with captain assisting. Captain took throttles and aircraft to reverse with heavy braking. While captain brought the aircraft to a stop, I saw and called 'fire right engine,' pulled the fire handle, and then pushed extinguisher button. Captain got aircraft off runway, secured the engine, notified tower, took people off and away from aircraft, then assisted with the fire/operations personnel. I stayed with passenger until other company personnel arrived. No injured passenger or crew. Supplemental information from acn 250717: aircraft undamaged except for right engine. At the hangar later it was discovered that the power turbine had disintegrated. The engine will be sent to manufacturer for a tear down report.

Title: COMMUTER ACFT HAS LOUD 'POP,' THEN ENG FIRE, ABORTS TKOF.
Narrative: CLRED FOR TKOF RWY 9R FLL, BELOW LINE CHKLIST COMPLETED. (COPLT'S LEG -- MY LEG.) CAPT SET TKOF PWR. AFTER COMPLETION OF SETTING TKOF PWR BEFORE V1, A 'POP' FROM THE R ENG WAS HEARD. R ENG WENT TO AUTO FEATHER. I INITIATED ABORT BY BRINGING BACK THE THROTTLES WITH CAPT ASSISTING. CAPT TOOK THROTTLES AND ACFT TO REVERSE WITH HVY BRAKING. WHILE CAPT BROUGHT THE ACFT TO A STOP, I SAW AND CALLED 'FIRE R ENG,' PULLED THE FIRE HANDLE, AND THEN PUSHED EXTINGUISHER BUTTON. CAPT GOT ACFT OFF RWY, SECURED THE ENG, NOTIFIED TWR, TOOK PEOPLE OFF AND AWAY FROM ACFT, THEN ASSISTED WITH THE FIRE/OPS PERSONNEL. I STAYED WITH PAX UNTIL OTHER COMPANY PERSONNEL ARRIVED. NO INJURED PAX OR CREW. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 250717: ACFT UNDAMAGED EXCEPT FOR R ENG. AT THE HANGAR LATER IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE PWR TURBINE HAD DISINTEGRATED. THE ENG WILL BE SENT TO MANUFACTURER FOR A TEAR DOWN RPT.
