Narrative:
On departure at 5000 ft MSL was advised to increase the turn to 120 degree heading. Attention in the cockpit was focused on a light civilian aircraft transiting our 12 O'clock at 4700 ft MSL, which eventually caused an RA which we reacted to and advised ATC. The controller advised us to continue turning to a 210 degree heading and climb to 6000 ft MSL which cancelled the RA.
