Narrative:
On landing, touched down 1661 ft from end runway 17, nosewheel lowered to runway. The nosewheel shimmied severely, lifted nose back off ground for 150 ft. When nose lowered to ground again the nose started to lower past normal and a propeller contacted runway. Aircraft remained on runway coming to a stop in 1567 ft. Airport manager kirksville, mo, said it appeared tire was flat at landing.

Title: SMT HAS LOSS OF ACFT CTL ON LNDG DUE FLAT TIRE.
Narrative: ON LNDG, TOUCHED DOWN 1661 FT FROM END RWY 17, NOSEWHEEL LOWERED TO RWY. THE NOSEWHEEL SHIMMIED SEVERELY, LIFTED NOSE BACK OFF GND FOR 150 FT. WHEN NOSE LOWERED TO GND AGAIN THE NOSE STARTED TO LOWER PAST NORMAL AND A PROP CONTACTED RWY. ACFT REMAINED ON RWY COMING TO A STOP IN 1567 FT. ARPT MGR KIRKSVILLE, MO, SAID IT APPEARED TIRE WAS FLAT AT LNDG.
