Narrative:

Flight inb fay-rdu had a landing gear problem. Apparently crew did not notify anyone of their intentions or their situation and proceeded to rdu. Having the gear down affects flight performance. The dispatcher was advised by the equipment coordinator (person who flows aircraft for the day). By the time I was notified, the flight was already safely on the ground. As far as I know, no emergency was declared. Where is the dispatch/pilot joint responsibility communication? The dispatcher needs to be involved in the loop.
