Narrative:
At 12000 ft, 250 KTS, we were given a clearance by clt approach to descend to 10000 ft when we got a TCASII RA and thus stopped descent at 11000 ft and advised approach. Then we were given a clearance to maintain 11000 ft. We had a visual on the mdt traffic at all times at the lower altitude.
