Narrative:
We were cleared to taxi from the gate to runway 32 at fwa. We taxied down taxiway Y to taxiway Y6 and were cleared for takeoff. We realized taxiway Y6 is closed to aircraft our size after we were on the taxiway due to the position of the sign. It was too late after we saw the sign to stop. Also, the note on the commercial chart page is easy to miss since it is combined with a note for other txwys. It had been a long time since either crew member had been into fwa. The situation could have been avoided if ground control had issued a warning upon issuing clearance, or if a better visual indication was available.
