Narrative:
As I was slowing down from landing I noticed that my radios had gone down and also my landing light had gone dim. As I noticed that the light had gone dim, I came to a stop and exited the runway to the nearest taxiway where I stopped and turned off my lights -- the radios then came back on. I then proceeded to call ground as normal and taxied to FBO where I called the tower. While speaking to tower they told me I should have left the runway as soon as possible, which I did. After spending the night I found out that the voltage regulator had gone out and that caused the shortage of power.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: ON LNDG ROLLOUT LIGHTS DIM, RADIOS FAIL.
Narrative: AS I WAS SLOWING DOWN FROM LNDG I NOTICED THAT MY RADIOS HAD GONE DOWN AND ALSO MY LNDG LIGHT HAD GONE DIM. AS I NOTICED THAT THE LIGHT HAD GONE DIM, I CAME TO A STOP AND EXITED THE RWY TO THE NEAREST TXWY WHERE I STOPPED AND TURNED OFF MY LIGHTS -- THE RADIOS THEN CAME BACK ON. I THEN PROCEEDED TO CALL GND AS NORMAL AND TAXIED TO FBO WHERE I CALLED THE TWR. WHILE SPEAKING TO TWR THEY TOLD ME I SHOULD HAVE LEFT THE RWY ASAP, WHICH I DID. AFTER SPENDING THE NIGHT I FOUND OUT THAT THE VOLTAGE REGULATOR HAD GONE OUT AND THAT CAUSED THE SHORTAGE OF PWR.
