Narrative:

TCASII gave traffic warning. It appeared at 12:30 position, minus 300 ft climbing on TCASII. First officer called edf tokyo requesting any traffic. Visibility was good but no visual contact. TCASII turned red, target at our altitude 1 mi. TCASII commanded descend. Captain obeyed TCASII and left FL330. First officer and tokyo stepped on each other and '350' was the only thing heard in the cockpit. After descending 300 ft, tokyo said 'maintain FL330, clear of traffic.' target on TCASII appeared to be 1-2 mi behind us and slightly to the right.
