Narrative:
Loop departure off lax. Departure turned us early to proceed direct VOR and comply with crossing restrs. The PF (captain) maintained 200-220 KTS and climb thrust but used 30 degrees bank. The PNF and myself (flight engineer) had commented 1 week prior of the uniqueness of flying the SID, but the PF did not take our experience into consideration. He crossed the VOR at approximately 8800 ft (ATC queried). He proceeded on same heading and only made his turn to intercept the 041 degree radial once he climbed through 10000 ft which was a late turn by 3 DME.
