Narrative:
On dec/mon/93, this reporter rented an small aircraft twin from FBO/flight training facility located at tamiami airport (tmb) for a multi-engine training flight under the supervision of CFI. During the flight, which totaled .9 hour elapsed time, single engine practice was performed, including shutting down and restarting the left engine at altitude. After restart of left engine, we were in vicinity of X51. The CFI pulled both throttles fully aft to simulate a 2-ENG out emergency. A no flap approach was set up for R36 and the gear was lowered to slow aircraft, but was retracted to slow rate of sink and was inadvertently not lowered again. A small amount of power was applied shortly before runway but was completely aft before landing. The aircraft gear unsafe light did not come on nor did the gear warning horn sound at any time during the approach or landing.

Title: AN SMA TWIN LANDED WHEELS UP.
Narrative: ON DEC/MON/93, THIS RPTR RENTED AN SMA TWIN FROM FBO/FLT TRAINING FACILITY LOCATED AT TAMIAMI ARPT (TMB) FOR A MULTI-ENG TRAINING FLT UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF CFI. DURING THE FLT, WHICH TOTALED .9 HR ELAPSED TIME, SINGLE ENG PRACTICE WAS PERFORMED, INCLUDING SHUTTING DOWN AND RESTARTING THE L ENG AT ALT. AFTER RESTART OF L ENG, WE WERE IN VICINITY OF X51. THE CFI PULLED BOTH THROTTLES FULLY AFT TO SIMULATE A 2-ENG OUT EMER. A NO FLAP APCH WAS SET UP FOR R36 AND THE GEAR WAS LOWERED TO SLOW ACFT, BUT WAS RETRACTED TO SLOW RATE OF SINK AND WAS INADVERTENTLY NOT LOWERED AGAIN. A SMALL AMOUNT OF PWR WAS APPLIED SHORTLY BEFORE RWY BUT WAS COMPLETELY AFT BEFORE LNDG. THE ACFT GEAR UNSAFE LIGHT DID NOT COME ON NOR DID THE GEAR WARNING HORN SOUND AT ANY TIME DURING THE APCH OR LNDG.
