Narrative:
Normal checklists completed before entering gate area. I cleared right side of aircraft for captain as aircraft approached gate keeping ground marshaller in sight at all times. Parking and chocking completed without incident. Checklist completed. Upon leaving cockpit, the crew was informed that there was a gash cut in #1 engine nacelle, most likely from contact with jetway. No collision during taxi was felt by me in the cockpit.

Title: FLC OF A WDB ACR ACFT HIT JETWAY DURING PARKING CAUSING A DENT IN THE L ENG COWLING.
Narrative: NORMAL CHKLISTS COMPLETED BEFORE ENTERING GATE AREA. I CLRED R SIDE OF ACFT FOR CAPT AS ACFT APCHED GATE KEEPING GND MARSHALLER IN SIGHT AT ALL TIMES. PARKING AND CHOCKING COMPLETED WITHOUT INCIDENT. CHKLIST COMPLETED. UPON LEAVING COCKPIT, THE CREW WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WAS A GASH CUT IN #1 ENG NACELLE, MOST LIKELY FROM CONTACT WITH JETWAY. NO COLLISION DURING TAXI WAS FELT BY ME IN THE COCKPIT.
