Narrative:

While on final approach at cvg (ILS 36L) level at 4000 ft, we were encountering moderate rime icing. We were established on the localizer. Upon reaching 11.2 DME we started a descent to 2200 ft as prescribed by the approach procedure. Upon reaching 2200 ft we received an altitude alert from ATC. They then gave us a current altimeter setting of 30.08 (we had 30.27 dialed in). We climbed to 2200 ft and intercepted the GS and landed without further incident.
