Narrative:

During preflight inspection of aircraft, it was discovered that the maintenance procedures for MEL 49-01 APU inoperative. Were not complied with. Mexico city maintenance was made aware of this and then complied with the dispatch deviation procedures. All flight crews must be aware of maintenance procedures and be sure they are complied with.

Title: AN ACI FOUND THAT THE PAPERWORK WAS NOT COMPLETE .

Narrative: DURING PREFLT INSPECTION OF ACFT, IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE MAINT PROCS FOR MEL 49-01 APU INOP. WERE NOT COMPLIED WITH. MEXICO CITY MAINT WAS MADE AWARE OF THIS AND THEN COMPLIED WITH THE DISPATCH DEVIATION PROCS. ALL FLT CREWS MUST BE AWARE OF MAINT PROCS AND BE SURE THEY ARE COMPLIED WITH.
