Narrative:

A 94 yr old man with diabetes and a pacemaker passed out and went in to a coma. We declared a medical emergency about 120 mi northeast of fll. ATC gave us priority handling to descend and fly directly to fll. The approach and landing were normal. ATC, approach, tower, and ground did a great job to expedite our arrival. Even other aircraft on the ground gave way to us. I do not believe there were any aircraft deviations caused by our emergency. Paramedics removed the man and placed him on the jetway to begin to resuscitate him. Supplemental information from acn 264447: I did maintain 'maximum' forward speed from time of diversion until mia approach asked us to slow to 210 KTS as they turned us downwind for 9L. Due to the nature of the emergency, I elected to exceed the 250 KTS below 10000 ft rule based on my emergency authority.
