Narrative:
A male passenger required medical assistance in-flight. 2 passenger (emt's) assisted our flight attendants to care for the ill passenger. Contact was made with center to expedite our routing direct to reno. Flight attendants contacted medical personnel on the phone for assistance. Dispatch was contacted to arrange medical assistance. Reno approach waived 250 KTS/below 10000 ft to the airport. Passenger was later announced dead by emt's who met the flight.

Title: FLC OF AN MLG DECLARED A MEDICAL EMER DUE TO AN ILL PAX. ARTCC EXPEDITED THE ARR TO THEIR DEST AND LIFTED THE SPD RESTR BELOW 10000 FT. THE PARAMEDICS MET ACFT AT THE GATE.
