Narrative:
I was working in the back galley as #2 flight attendant counting meals and doing boarding procedures. I did not see passenger come on board. I was informed before takeoff by #1 flight attendant of passenger, that she was very sick and needed to be watched and checked throughout the flight. I talked to the passenger several times, and her friends flying with her about her needs and what we could do for her and how she was feeling. Passenger did 'smile' and said she was fine. I had switched places on serving cart with #4 flight attendant and was on the forward end serving beverages. I had served row xx and checked on passenger's condition. She was resting with open eyes and smiled. Her companions took gingerale for her. Going 2 rows up, a lady passenger tapped me on the shoulder and asked me to get the doctor and pointed him out to me and described him, what he was wearing. I asked her why. She told me passenger X had passed out. I looked at passenger X who was breathing and told #4 flight attendant. She told the doctor and called on the phone #1 flight attendant. I stayed with the doctor and passenger. The doctor told me to get the first aid kit. #1 flight attendant was with me, I got the kit and #1 flight attendant got the oxygen. The doctor used inhalant (ammonia) and he put the oxygen with mask on her. #1 flight attendant had informed the captain. We then were told to prepare for landing. We landed in atl. Emt's met us at the gate and came on and took the passenger off. Before leaving on the bus to the hotel, the captain and first officer checked on the passenger after she was off the plane, and talked to the emt's to see how she was doing. She was going to be ok. We reported the incident to the company and all flight attendants wrote up reports and turned them in the next day at the airport.
