Narrative:

Aircraft just got out of 100 hour inspection and had fuel gauge calibrated. We landed at 5AW for fuel after training when our fuel had reached our reserve of 45 mins according to the fuel gauge. After topping the aircraft off, we found that the fuel gauge was reading 150 pounds higher than actual fuel available. We learned not to put too much faith in a fuel gauge just because it had been recently calibrated.
