Narrative:
We were level at FL330. TCASII advisory in yellow traffic plus aural 'traffic' followed by red TCASII traffic plus aural 'traffic climb.' we turned right off course plus climbed about 400 ft. Had traffic at 350 directly above us. Problem poor ATC plus language difficulty in that they speak portuguese to local traffic, so we have no way of knowing what other clrncs are.

Narrative: WE WERE LEVEL AT FL330. TCASII ADVISORY IN YELLOW TFC PLUS AURAL 'TFC' FOLLOWED BY RED TCASII TFC PLUS AURAL 'TFC CLB.' WE TURNED R OFF COURSE PLUS CLBED ABOUT 400 FT. HAD TFC AT 350 DIRECTLY ABOVE US. PROB POOR ATC PLUS LANGUAGE DIFFICULTY IN THAT THEY SPEAK PORTUGUESE TO LCL TFC, SO WE HAVE NO WAY OF KNOWING WHAT OTHER CLRNCS ARE.
